Senior Staff Engineer, Google Cloud Storage (Mandarin, English)

Google Cloud's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another

• Develop and drive the technical roadmap for the Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) storage client portfolio
• Lead the architecture of integrated storage solutions
• Act as the architectural bridge between the Google Cloud Storage (GCS), Lustre, and other core engineering
• Mentor executive engineers across the organization and elevate the technical bar for the entire storage group through design leadership

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 8 years of experience in software development
• 5 years of experience with design and architecture, and testing/launching software products
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently

• Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently
• Experience with software development in C++ or Python
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems or infrastructure
• Experience with storage technologies
